⚠️ IMPORTANT MESSAGE ⚠️ When a Rescue helicopter is operating in the air, NEVER ever fly drones ‼️ During an incident at Shanganagh Cliffs recently, a drone was identified near the incident while Rescue 116 was assisting with rescue operation.

The moon rising with a mirage behind Muglins Lighthouse on this day three years ago. This is what I was hoping for on Friday evening but alas the horizon was too misty unlike the perfect conditions in 2022. Though I guess it makes the two unique from each other!

Remembering @gardainfo member Sgt Paul Reid…On this day 1995 he was returning from peace duties at Sarajevo Airport. As he travelled through Snipers Alley, his vehicle was struck by a snipers bullet which caused it to lose control & he was fatally injured…May he Rest In Peace

Remembering @gardainfo Garda Robert McCallion, Letterkenny, who died on this day 2009.He responded to a call & while dealing with it,a car approached at speed & struck him.Gda McCallion later died from serious injuries.May we remember the Gardai who died in service to this State
