Our new publication towards understanding what goes into assessing child maintenance cases. Most cases handled by social workers in Ghana relate to child maintenance, so this is an important contribution towards developing an agreed upon assessment framework. @ChildStds_Essex.

Our latest research article focuses on pathways for the intergenerational transmission of child labour and opportunities to break the cycle of transmission. Findings are informed by narratives from children who have been involved in labour activities.

Peer relations for these children are often charactised by bullying and victimisation as peers refer to their parent's mental illness in teasing, name-calling and isolating themselves during play activities.
