🦋 Our north Devon team spotted a very exciting butterfly last week! This clouded yellow butterfly made an uncommon appearance in Braunton Burrows, after making its way from Europe for the breeding season. Thank you to Rupert from @Love_plants for the photo!

We chose the best day for another birch pulling session today and we even did a butterfly survey in the middle - very productive! 🦋☀️ Thank you to our volunteers who clambered through thickets of gorse to get the job done 🙏 As a bonus, we found 4-5 different shield bugs!

We’re thrilled to be part of the new Lincolnshire Coronation Coast NNR! Lincolnshire’s coast provides vital habitat for dune specialist species such as the natterjack toad, and the new NNR will help us to continue protecting the area for the future
