Such terrible news. Ruth was such a presence it does not seem possible that she is gone, and so suddenly. I was lucky to have known and worked with her.
We're very sad to hear about the passing away of Ruth Eastwood, a brilliant cultural leader who had such an impact on theatre, including @DarlingtonHipp @LighthousePoole @CurveLeicester & Blackpool @Grand_Theatre. Our thoughts are with her family & friends.

Very sad to be loosing Sarah Maxfield, but really looking forward to working with @BallBecca who will be based in our Newcastle office.
We’re pleased to announce that @BallBecca, currently Chief Executive @SundCulture, will join us as our new Area Director, North, in August. Rebecca takes over from Sarah Maxfield who has been a huge advocate for culture for 14 years at the Arts Council and we wish her well.
