As #EIFF2025 starts, the pavements are closed as well as the bus stops at both @CameoCinema and @Filmhouse. Scandalous that ramps aren't even provided - the most basic access fail.
This is crazy: Tollcross’s busiest bus stop (@CameoCinema) to close for a week, supposedly for “safety reasons”; but we understand it’s to enhance red carpet treatment for #EIFF2025 celebrities😠. See story from @EdinReporter:

Sorry, but this image from @Sustrans is pure #gaslighting. As if disabled people are saying their top needs are cycle lanes and cargo bikes??. How about showing crappy pavements, dropped kerbs, Blue Badges, level boarding, well trained staff, etc etc?.

After a holiday in Greece with my brother, a maths professor at a US university, we settled our expenses. He had spent €400, I spent €200. He said "So. you owe me €200"!😂.

I'm pleased to see the Community Transport Assoc @CTAUK1 surveying Community Bus (S22) use pls share!. A great example of innovation is @TransportHc converting its Dial-a-Bus operations to S22, meaning that passengers across the Lothians now travel FREE!

Now 3 years+ with no bus tracker at a *health centre* for goodness sake!?!
I first took a picture of this out-of-action bus tracker at a busy Morningside bus stop in April - *last year*!. If @Edinburgh_CC is serious about getting people into public transport this has got to change.
