I’ve read @RJPalacio Wonder more times than I can count, it’s been a few years since having my own class. past 6 wks I’ve been reading it to my @dsbn_5 Gr 5s. Getting through Mr.T’s speech without tears is still impossible. Forever my favourite book 💙 love sharing it with kids

Today we had the most delicious edition of @WODBMath. @dsbn_5 Ss discussed: number of sides, vertices, faces, shape and generally yummy-ness. We are ROCKING this program!!

A grade 3 student went on a nature walk this weekend and found a small shaped rock to paint like a ladybug! ☺ @dsbn @dsbn_5 @OntarioSLP #summerlearning

From sharing circles to reading a play together these students are rocking their reading this summer! The improvement by each of them is a great celebration for all involved. Thanks to the families for their support of their child each day. @dsbn @OntarioSLP

This week we mastered the collaborative whiteboard tool on Teams so we could work together to write chapter summaries and then edit each others work. We are loving the chapter book we are reading in LLI during @dsbn_5 Summer Learning!

Grade Two’s searched around home today find levers! They did a fantastic job pointing out the fulcrum and how levers make work easier. Can you find simple machine levers in your home? @dsbn_5

#wirelesswednesday brought about an eggcellent experiment. @dsbn_5 Ss create hypothesis of what they think may happen to the egg (representing our teeth) after sitting in some of our favourite drinks over night. @ScienceCentreCT @BillNye #grade2
