I don’t understand how @RishiSunak isn’t embarrassed. Waiting list grew by 4.7m from 2010 to March 2023 (when we began IA). They have grown by a further 0.3m since. It’s like blaming a defeat on a striker missing a last-minute penalty when you’re already 15-0 down ⚽️
Rishi Sunak said today at #PMQs that rising NHS waiting lists is down to industrial action. Well how about the last 13 years of rising waiting lists?

What's happening to Antarctic sea ice extent isn't getting enough global media attention. And by "enough" I mean none. Nothing. This ongoing and dramatic collapse is completely absent from today's news. Yesterday's sea ice extent was 4.02σ below the 1991-2023 mean (1-in-34,000).
