This study demonstrates that the Utah Pediatric Trauma Network, an inclusive, non-completive collaborative of hospitals in Utah to improve pediatric trauma care, can safely help non-pediatric hospitals admit children w/mild TBI keeping them closer to home.

Best Of Trauma❇️ In this retrospective review, the sensitivity of MDCT in detecting clinically significant injuries that required an operative intervention is 100%. In patients with a normal MDCT,MRI failed to detect any previously missed unstable injuries.

Nearly 2yrs ago surgeons from the Grant Scott Bonham Fetal Center at @primarychildren performed Utah's first open in utero surgery on Abigail Rose who had spina bifida. Her mom just sent me this video of her first steps. Truly amazing work!
