The importance of MDT care is stressed in this @AHAScience update on cardiac sarcoidosis. Since 2019, our colleagues from EP, HF, CV imaging, Pulm & Genetics @FM_HVI @CorewellHealth have met monthly to help guide difficult management decisions for these complex patients #EPeeps

At a time when there is a renewed interest in posterior wall ablation using PFA, we are excited to share our 4-year outcome data on hybrid ablation in patients with persistent & long-standing persAF @FM_HVI @CorewellHealth #EPeeps

The CONVERGE trial demonstrated that hybrid epicardial and endocardial ablation was more effective than catheter ablation for the treatment of persistent atrial fibrillation (AF) at 1 year. Long-term...

A seamless collaboration between EP and CTS @SHMeijerHeart @SpectrumHealth to help our patient with NICM, sternotomy for MV repair and refractory VT despite prior LV endo/CS ablation. #HeartTeam discussion-> lateral thoracotomy in the EP lab-> successful epi/endo ablation #EPeeps

70 yo M with persistent AF, ischemic cardiomyopathy and Boston Sci CRT-D presents in sustained VT. The device EGM has several interesting findings, but what accounts for the dissimilar RV and LV rates? LV is a quad lead with tip-ring sensing #EPeeps @DrBradleyKnight @narrowQRS

This is a very important issue that has not been adequately resolved, as there is no code. 22 modifiers do not come close and pericardiocentesis and intraoperative epi is not accurate. I hope that we can work with @HRSonline @AndreaRussoEP to address this in 2020. #QSQ

@CardiologyCoder What is the appropriate CPT code for pericardial access for epicardial ablation procedure? (or is it also bundled in the VT code??)

Sometimes bad substrate = good physiology. 68 yo F CAD s/p CABG, ICM and VT despite AADs. Pacing within septal substrate reveals 1) long stim-QRS 2) decremental conduction 3) reentry and 4) local capture with intra-isthmus block #EPeeps #JCETweet2Press @JCardioEP

Only PVCs and NSVT were observed during the study, but rendered non-inducible following ablation targeting DD 4,5->DD 8,9 to eliminate downstream late potentials #EPeeps @AkihikoNogami @DrRoderickTung @gauravaupadhyay

I had the opportunity to participate in a fascinating redo ablation with my partner @mdahu @SpectrumHealth in a 26 yo M with recurrent fascicular VT. Note the late potentials on the duodec at the LV septum, which decremented with V-pacing and induced reentrant echo beats (1/2)

31 yo man. Antidromic ART mimicking OFT VT. Anyone seen/heard of accessory pathway to R-L SOV before? Slowly conducting and pathway potential 82 ms pre-QRS. One burn! Fun case/maneuvers. #EPPeeps @ReddyEPS @DrRigoRamirezEP @DrGregMichaud @jaymontgomery44 @DrRoderickTung @ @KUCVM
