After years of scarcity, 🙏🏾to @UNICEF’s solar-powered boreholes, funded by @WorldBankAfrica, 1,000+ families, schools & health facilities in Alhudaibah, River Nile, now have safe, reliable water. Children can bathe, families can cook, and communities are thriving.

Our #GAFA initiative is taking shape in Jigjiga, Somali Region. Yesterday with @CIFFchild, we deployed 20 solar-powered boreholes to bring climate-resilient water and build local capacity to keep it flowing. Grateful to the Somali Regional Govt, @UNDPEthiopia & communities.

What started as a shared vision in 2023 is now a reality. Today, alongside @UNICEFKenya, we commissioned the Griftu Water Supply Project—a climate-resilient system now delivering safe water to over 9,000 people in Wajir. Proof that purposeful collaboration transforms lives.

Amid the conflict, clean water means survival. With support from #USAID_BHA, @UNICEF & partners are delivering clean and safe water through trucking to families affected by or fleeing conflict in ZamZam & Abu Shouk camps & Al Fasher - reaching 200,000 people. #ForEveryChild
