PS State Department Water and Sanitation Mr. Julius Korir CBS, @JKorir_K held a meeting this afternoon with officials from FINEXPO and the Embassy of Belgium led by Dr. Carmen Mazijn from @BelgiuminKenya to explore ongoing & future areas of collaboration in the water sector.

The meeting,was also attended by the Secretary for Land Reclamation, Climate Resilience, and Irrigation Water Management, Mr. Joel Tanui.

The discussions centered on potential areas of collaboration, particularly in Farmer-Led Irrigation Development (FLID) and Community-Based Irrigation Schemes, which are among the five pathways outlined in the National Irrigation Sector Investment Plan (NISIP).

This afternoon, the Irrigation Secretary, @Eng. Vincent Kabuti, OGW, on behalf of the Principal Secretary for Irrigation, @EphantusKim, chaired a meeting with the AFD Group led by Mr. Peter Addo, who is Deputy Director at the Ministry’s headquarters.
