A new report out today from @PregnancyJust finds that, in the first year after Dobbs, 210 pregnant people faced criminal charges related to pregnancy, birth, or pregnancy loss. This is the largest single-year number ever, and almost certainly still an undercount.

Abortion ban exceptions do not actually protect or help patients because they are not meant to. These “exceptions” exist to make anti abortion extremists look reasonable, and they aren’t. Every abortion ban is extreme.
