While we all think of pacemakers post TAVR- patients w pacemakers pre TAVR have worse outcomes. Adjusted OR suggests that this is driven by higher co morbidity profile at baseline. As we develop algorithms for risk determination, this factor should be folded into the equation.

We demonstrate ⬆️ comorbidity burden &⬆️mortality in TAVR pts with pre-existing CIED compared to pts who require PPM within 30 days. Check out our📜 in @JICE_EP. Thx @Nishaki1 @amrabbasmd @drkuldeep_shah @IvanHansonMD @ramymandoMD. #EPeeps #CardioTwitter https://t.co/sudjoVnokZ

conduction system pacing is safe and feasible in patients with a prosthetic valve, with a significantly higher success rate and superior lead parameters with LBBP than HBP, especially in pts post-TAVR. @hhuang123 @ALFIEEP1 @dr_pmueller @psharmadoc @Dominik_Linz @MaggieInfeld

🚨 According to new Hot off the Press article in #JICE , in pts w prosthetic heart valves, LBBP had a significant higher overall success rate compared to HBP. The LBBP thresholds were significantly lower compared to HBP both at implant and at FU. ⬇️⬇️⬇️ https://t.co/tsyuCJ3x1i
