Very positive to see follow through on last year's Dublin City Taskforce and real movement towards rejuvenating our capital city. Particularly welcome that "derelict sites will be converted into high-density residential areas where homes for essential workers will be a priority".
The establishment of a new agency to oversee the rejuvenation of Dublin City Centre has been approved by Government.

A great day for Irish science, and credit to @lawlessj for pushing for CERN membership for many years and making it a reality today as Minister. It's a long time coming - the first campaign to join I recall was back when I was studying particle physics myself in the last century!.
Ireland has signed an associate membership agreement to join the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN).
