My latest journal article is live - looking at the @KBOleague documentary Full Count and all the cultural aspects demonstrated in the show.
A new case study is now available!. @drkevhull and Dr. Choi present a fascinating case by looking at the Korean Baseball Organization through the lens of a 10-part documentary (Full Count), inquiring about the cultural influence of such documentaries.

I also want to thank all my current and former students. Even though I borrowed (stole?) a lot from Professor Spiker's version, my students have embraced "my" version of the class and have made it my favorite to teach thanks to their overwhelming interest. (5/x)

Last week I attend the @AEJMC conference presented one of my favorite assignments: the Locomotives Social Media Plan from my Social Media for Sports Media class. It was especially rewarding to have it honored with @SportsAEJMC's first ever "Great Idea For Teaching" award.

Good luck to @bportnoy15 on his new gig. He did a great job covering @GamecockFB for @thestate and was always available to guest speak in our @UofSC_SJMC sports media classes. Our students are better because of his insights.
~Some personal news~. This is my final week at The State. Next week, I’m joining Sports Business Journal (@SBJ) as its new college sports reporter. Taking on a national role is a lifelong dream, but I want to use this time to thank everyone who’s made Columbia feel like home

Congrats to our @UofSC_SJMC Live TV Sports Production class for their successful broadcast of this past weekend's @GamecockSoftbll game. These students - all fresh. and soph. - learned all semester about putting on a live broadcast, and then crushed it during their final on SECN+
