Flyest is a Hip-Hop inspired tea company owned by me, a Black Woman herbalist. I started the business back in 2016. The quality blends are handmade using herbs sourced from herb farms and co-ops, and ethically sourced tea leaves. You can shop:

It's Prime week or whatever and everyone's sharing their hauls and purchases. I never want to shame anyone into shopping small, but I just have to say that when you shop with someone like me, or you share my business -- you have no idea how important it is.

I've shared extensively, particularly on TikTok, about how challenging it has been this year running a small business. Today I logged into Twitter to see that folks are recommending Flyest to their friends. Thank you.

My local produce and greenhouse center has Luda Crisp apples. Please tell me I'm not the last person to know about this. I've got to get over there tomorrow to buy one. I wanna taste it lol.

This woman is so so brave. I'm blown away by every action she has taken to get justice.
In a heroic move, Gisele Pelicot fought to make public the videos of her unconscious rapes at the hands of over 50 men and won. She wanted the public “to look rape straight in the eyes.” Shame, she said, must change sides —from the victims to the perpetrators. Police found more

I understand shrewd business and doing whatever it takes to make a profit, but I don't understand how businesses, which are expected to act as corporate citizens, can see something as dangerous as this hurricane as an opportunity to make money. That's just going too far.

This is so so sad. This guy says his wife's flight was canceled and it could be because of her location, but I'm willing to bet it was canceled because she got a fair price. Now they can sell her seat to someone else, or to her again, at a higher price.
Sky-high prices to escape Florida before a deadly hurricane—and Republicans still criticize price gouging bans.

Today I made a promise to myself, I promise to speak what I want to happen...not what is. Getting lost in a cup of my blue jasmine and lemongrass tea, I said my morning affirmations again and again, while I waited for my tea to brew. Teatime is the best time for this work.

The female rappers are making some really really creative music videos in a time where it seems like videos don't even matter. They catch my attention every single time.

Is "Luh" here short for love or is it an evolved spelling of "little"?

I love that people find new and interesting ways to incorporate Hip-Hop into daily life. This is the power of Hip-Hop.

Unfortunately for Star, the construct of race doesn't work like that.
@drinkflyest Star isn't black ..he'll tell you that

This is no way for Black people to talk to one another. Star has been doing this for a long, long time. Resorting to colorist remarks to talk to someone who's obviously troubled, like Jaguar Wright is, is nasty. This Black man speaks like a white supremacist.

It's #glocktober and I challenged myself to read 9 books by Black authors that celebrate urban fiction. I did the reading challenge last year, but I hadn't read urban fiction in so long. After I read "Finally Famous" by Ladii Nesha, I saw how much the genre changed.
