I dread to think what they get away with, as not many will see it through to the small claims court stage. It's not the best use of time but companies need to be held to account and not allowed to enforce a "take what you're given" attitude. Thanks for coming to my TED talk. 😂

I didn't even originally ask for a full refund, just a fair compromise based on the service received. Unfortunately, Deliveroo refused every step of the way & this is where we've ended up. We don't have to accept poor service, nor accept being treated with contempt by large orgs.

For all of those who have been excitedly following my progress, Deliveroo today offered to settle before we go to court by offering a full refund of my meal plus court fees plus they agreed to donate £50 to a charity of my choice..
