This is great thread to see the growing demand in hard data, but to also understand the other constraints and bottlenecks. Always great to see nuclear top the capacity factor charts, we need more nuclear!
Data centers are rapidly scaling and reshaping local electricity markets - AI adds to this trend as AI-focused data centers consume orders of magnitude more electricity than other types of data centers.

Fully agree, coal is winning by default because we’re not building nuclear fast enough. There is no "energy transition", we need more energy...period. This buildout needs to nuclear!
Here’s one of the charts from my latest Substack. Despite all the talk about the end of coal, the amount of new coal-fired capacity now under construction is >4x the amount of new nuclear being built. Those numbers should be reversed. https://t.co/wIx2Yb8hdp
