What is striking in new SF policy about asylum is the absence of call for more resources for working class communities. They want to audit resources but then consequence of not having enough isn't that you get the necessary resources, it's that you don't get asylum seekers!

It will go down in history that minister @rodericogorman the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration, and Youth of Ireland who is supposed to protect children would be evicting 2,000 families into homelessness come the 5th of July.

I completely agree. It sometimes bothers me when I hear people say "the rise of the far right and racism in Ireland" There is no rise, it's always been here, rather, there are simply more victims to target due to an increase of diverse populations.
