While preparing for this interview, it took a while for me to think carefully about my key motivations to take this #phdjourney and #research path that I have chosen. Once again, I am grateful to have received the #PhF23 award that have unlocked many more opportunities.

Good read! Average benefits do not mean that everyone will experience the same level of efficacy and toxicity (think anomalies). Progress have been made but we remain miles away from achieving personalized medical decision making.
This is a very well researched and well written article on toxicities of cancer drugs.

This is the use of complementary therapies (i.e. integrative) that I can agree on in cancer, to help with symptom and side effects management. To cure cancer, chemo, radiation, surgery is still the way to go.

It pains me to see misinformation spreading to cancer patients. I am looking at doing a thorough review into ivermectin and cancer. Anyone interested in it?.
Guess what, the studies on ivermectin in #cancer all fail to help to the point that they are withdrawn. STOP spreading misinformation about ivermectin as a treatment for everything. It's not. At this point you're only putting on blast that you don't get how medicine works.
