Guests on the grounds are essentially forced to waste their time finding/waiting for water or fork over $5 for *plastic* bottle of water. Gross.

Pretty ashamed of the @calgarystampede; there are only two or three water refill stations on the entire grounds and when you finally find them, they are 20+ minute waits. Might be the greatest outdoor show on Earth, but the show sure doesn't love the Earth.
