Prosperity >> environment for me. I have seen how poor and impoverished the part I come from is. I have seen how many billions we spend importing things that we could make here. I just don't care. Build the mines, build the power plants, get niggas out of poverty ASAP.

Yet another delusional take. The Muslim League was created a decade before the Hindu Mahasabha.
Majoritarian RSS was the reason why Pakistan got created in the first place. Hindu Mahasabha was co-founded by the Congress leaders and later it led to RSS' creation, raising eyebrows among the minorities. It strengthened the idea of having their own country.

"Peak came in mid-2000s" Quarter of the population didn't have access to electricity as late as 2008. 63% of population didn't even have access to basic sanitation. The numbers are 99% and 17% now. There needs to be a rationale. Like what's the logic?
@macroschema I think we’re past the peak, I think it came is mid 2000s. The economy was really growing holistically post 1991 reforms. It has plateaued now and AI/automation has again given the advantage to developed countries. India failed to exploit low labour cost and high youth advantage.
