Despite intense economic persecution, Indian Muslim income grew by 27.7%, while Hindu grew by 18.8%, between 2016-2024. A lot of this growth owes to migration. Around 6.1 million Indian Muslims earn in GCC & 1.5 million elsewhere, supporting at least 25 million IM population.
