Almost always with a smile on his face. He loved his golf, his travels and Manchester City. And his family, who were with him at his bedside when he passed, following a brief illness. He’ll be missed by many of us. RIP Steve 🙏

Sad news about a great friend & colleague from Daily Express days, Steve Nolan, who passed away yesterday. For 30 years Steve edited the sports pages at the Express group of newspapers. He was encouraging, discerning, quietly authoritative & most of all a really good guy.
