When youāve spent 20 years obsessing over epistemology and learning physics, it can be jarring to realize that most people donāt have beliefs at all, in a rigorous sense. They just have emotional reactions to sentences.

Update: as of 9:30 am this Tuesday Astoria the Wild Turkey had flown off from another encounter with NYPD while she was foraging in a small park in East Midtown. She seems to be fine and needs no rescue. Please give her space let her forage.
