Happy St Brigids day, a day of celebration of one of our national saints, especially here in County Kildare. Lá Fhéile Bríde sona daoibh.

Just like W'Meath's ability to manage the end of game (O'Byrne final, Sligo last week) in what should be a close match down in Ennis. Also going to trust my priors on Antrim. 1.5 pt Antrim -1 @ 5/6 (b365) Left Kerry +3, Fermanagh +4 & London +3 alone. We know how this ends!!

Dealer's choice in Mayo today. BTTS or o2 5? But also having a nibble on o3.5; hoping Moran & Mayo will be full throttle all game & Dub will have to keep up. Also having a pop on W'Meath 1pt BTTS @ 5/4 (b365) 0.25pt o3.5 @ 4/1 (b365) 1pt W'Meath @ 10/11

Full time Stats Review Armagh vs Galway. Armagh again refuse to take on 2 point attempts. Only 1 attempt from 33 shots. (It is hard to hand pass over the bar from 40m out). Galway also opt to only take 3/23 shots from outside the 40m arc (0/3)
A look at the data ahead of Armagh v Galway. Both teams elected to only take 2 shots from outside the 40m arc in round 1. Armagh at 81% shooting from inside the D compared the league average of 55%. Galway only converted 44% of theirs inside the D.

I'd always be cautious in Week2. 1pt Wicklow @ 13/10 1pt BTTS Kildare - Offaly @ 6/4
(1/4) Week2 in the (American) NFL is known as “overreaction week.” Everyone has strong opinions then the 1st game happens. Do you knee‑jerk based on that result, or do you stick with your priors? Using my pre–Week 1 rankings, there are a few h'caps I’m out on - 3 in particular:

Great service as ever. I'm biased but the lads do a great job of keeping everyone up to date on all Kildare GAA aspects. Follow them. Share. But most importantly support the work by #buyingapaper . Regularly.
This week's podcast looks back on the excellent results for the Kildare mens and ladies teams ladies last weekend and another busy weekend of action ahead https://t.co/dNiD5XeyuU

Some move on Down away to Limerick. Now -7 from the initial -4. I had it at -6ish so agree with the direction but still

(4/4) Antrim vs Tipperary: I rate Antrim highly & have them as strong favs here. In truth I probably have Antrim too high, & once I adjust the ratings the top of Div4 (Antrim, Carlow, Wicklow) is due for a reshuffle. That said, I’m comfortable with where I have Tipperary priced.

(3/4) Roscommon vs Monaghan: Ros had a great outing in Kerry & are now 2pt favs at home. These sides met twice last year; in the league game—in the Hyde—the Rossies were 3pt favs & won by 5. Mon won the league final & had the better summer but…I’m not convinced on my own line.

(2/4) Carlow vs Wicklow: Carlow are slight favs. We were on Carlow last week, & I’d have faith in Joe Murphy having seen him up close during his Naas days. But last year Wicklow were 3pt favs in Aughrim & won by 4. Is home advantage + Murphy worth a 4pt swing? I'm not convinced.

Dear God yes. And whilst we're at it can county websites, and the GAA official website, indicate when ET was played in their results section? It can't be *that* hard #firstworldproblems
Is there any media outlet listing the Allianz Football league scores in the 0-0-0 format, rather than the standard 0-0? I can't find one. I believe @CurrentJams would be interested too, and I'm sure there are others. #gaa
