Peering out a Dragon Endeavor window that frames red and green aurora streaming by Dragon Freedom docked to the front of the International Space Station. When Crew-9 arrived I moved out of my crew quarters on the ISS to make room for @AstroHague. I now sleep in Dragon Endeavor

This took a few takes to capture . . . Initially held onto the camera mounting bracket and pushed off (you can hear the bracket clinking). Then carefully let it go so the camera floats with you through space station. Flew from the aft end of the lab to the forward end of Node 2.

I enjoy how the elevator doors close on this floor of a building at Johnson Space Center.

Don (@astro_Pettit) and I decided to demo how spaceships could transfer rocket fuel (AKA propellant) in space using water bottles, water, and Alka-Seltzer . . . what could go wrong?

Expedition 72 with Crew-8 in thermal infrared (all 11 of us minus me taking the photo). Just before Crew-8 boarded their Dragon spacecraft for return to Earth, I snapped an all-crew photo with our thermal infrared camera. Can you identify the crew? Hint, two are in their SpaceX

We had a blast doing this interview together from the cupola. We really enjoyed sharing how we take pictures of the earth and cosmos. I already miss seeing the incredible views of Earth.
A REALLY FUN interview IN THE CUPOLA with @astro_Pettit and @dominickmatthew ... Two of the best astronaut photographers to ever fly. It's fun to float around in the cupola with them! https://t.co/AgwG1Keuxb

This one goes out to all the ketchup lovers out there. Everyone I’ve shared it with either thinks it is awesome or gross. Nothing in between. Also some interesting science stuff happening . . .

A red sprite shoots out above a lightning strike over Central Africa. I was getting setup to take images of Cairo. On the approach across Africa there was a bunch of lightning. Out of 800 or so images there was a red sprite! 50mm, f1.2, 1/10s, ISO 3200, denoised

Moonlight illuminates Cairo and the Mediterranean on a mostly clear night. We were up late last night sleep shifting in preparation for undocking and return to Earth in the next few days. Cairo at night is one of my favorite views. I am happy the timing worked out to see it one

This. Joe is spot on. What a time to be alive . . . the freely available resources online to learn and explore in your free time are amazing. In some of my downtime every week on Earth I keep learning in areas like CAD, programming, imagery, and circuits.
If you're stoked about this, don't let that energy go to waste! Go build something! You can learn CAD, programming, circuit design, and lots more entirely for free online *right now*

We flew over Hurricane Milton again today about an hour ago. It was not as symmetric as yesterday but it appeared larger today.

This is how I frequently find @astro_Pettit on the Space Station. He loves taking pictures out of the bottom of space station looking at Earth. He takes really nice nighttime images of city lights. Although in this video he is taking some daytime shots.
