Young Recruits: Me reaching out to an employer about an opportunity without providing my resume is a waste of time. Wasting your time is exactly what you are doing when you reach out to coaches about an opportunity without providing your transcript and proof of test scores.

Young recruits: Too many will never get their film evaluated because they don’t included their transcripts and proof of test scores when reaching out. Telling me you have a 4.0 GPA is like me telling you I dunked on Micheal Jordan.

Young recruits: On this Father’s Day let me give you a piece of advice. Please stop reaching out to coaches and saying you feel you would be a fit. The only person that knows if you are a fit is said coach from said school. Also, no transcript, no film being watched.

Young Recruits: Class of 26, before DM a coach your film first, start with a current copy of your transcript and test scores. Also check to see if you are in the range of measurements before reaching out, yes there will be exceptions, but that’s probably 1 out of 100.
