i still think the practice of kicking your kids out from your home when they turn into an adult in the US sucks but i can't deny there's something in me that thinks "that would be kinda good for me" specifically.
u know. this got me thinking. if there's one thing i gotta give kudos to western culture it's the realization that it's actually okay to criticize how ur parents raised you and how it /should/ be okay to cut ties in abusive situations.
