So my daughter turned 3 and I started enforcing the 'big girls sleep in their room and babies sleep in mummy's room' rule Tell me why this cheeky monkey told me I was wrong, and that babies sleep in their room and big girls like her sleep in mummy's room 🤣🤣🤣
More than 5 bedrooms in this house but here you have myself, my wife and two daughters huddled on a single bed. Kids won’t just sleep on their beds. Life.

Permissive parenting being mistaken for gentle parenting stresses me ugh! authoritative parenting (I don't know why they started calling it gentle) actually requires more effort than authoritarian parenting where you just hit or scream & children are scared of you. It's so hard!!
This isn't gentle parenting. This is neglect. What you're describing are children who are not getting their basic physical and cognitive needs met, which is a symptom of abuse. Gentle parenting never met not toilet training your kids. It meant not screaming at them for doing it.

Being in your mother’s class is horrible. My mum taught me in secondary school. She always used to make an example of me. If I didn’t do my assessments she’d parade me like a criminal in front of the class 😩😭😭 She once had me flogged by other teachers in the staff room
