It was an honor to be part of the World IP Day in Kenya hosted by CIPIT @StrathCIPIT. Event cerebrated women innovators/inventors, consistent with @WIPO theme. We must do more to elevate women in society. @WCL_PIJIP @UofSC @UofSC_CIC @EIFLnet @ArcadiaFund
Happy to have @dickkawooya join us on #WorldIPDay. He notes that women’s contribution to innovation is not always acknowledged yet they play a key role. Ergo, there is a need for flexibility in the international copyright legal space to facilitate and rightly hail women's input.
