This was such a rejuvenating trip overall. So much so that, we continued discussing more science, even on our trip back to Hyderabad ๐ PS: The mini white board is a game changer and allowed us to truly enjoy the โchalk-talkโ style discussions. Highly recommend it ๐๐ป๐๐ป

Day 3: Part 2 We then visited the world famous Belur and Halebedu temples. I simply have no words to describe the skill and command that the Hoysala architects had over stone ๐คฏ๐คฏ๐คฏ The details were just outstanding and you can spend days and days pouring into it ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป

Day 3: Part 1 We started bright & early and visited the Mullayangiri Peak, highest peak in Karnataka. The drive up, the weather, the views and the final hike up to the summit were just breathtaking. And of course, we had finish off the hike with some Maggi and Masala Corn ๐ฝ๐

We started Day 2 with some amazing Bโfast โก๏ธ lots of discussions about pitfalls in all the projects & how, as a team we can work around these. I shared concepts from the recent @LifeSciLearn leadership course & how we can implement these in the lab โก๏ธ an amazing dinner ๐๐๐

We started Day 1 with some deep discussions about what the lab has achieved in 2024, areas to improve & major goals in 2025. Did this fun exercise where the crew had to explain other projects (they don't work on) & it was super fun ๐ Finished off with some awesome filer kaapi โ

Our lab @ccmb_csir completed 3 years and we did a lab retreat to celebrate the wins, retrospect and recalibrate for the upcoming year! We headed to Chikkamagaluru, in the beautiful western ghats of Karnataka. It was wonderful to discuss science with my fav bunch๐๐๐ ๐งตโฌ๏ธ
