This was such a rejuvenating trip overall. So much so that, we continued discussing more science, even on our trip back to Hyderabad ๐Ÿ˜Š PS: The mini white board is a game changer and allowed us to truly enjoy the โ€˜chalk-talkโ€™ style discussions. Highly recommend it ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป

Day 3: Part 2 We then visited the world famous Belur and Halebedu temples. I simply have no words to describe the skill and command that the Hoysala architects had over stone ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿคฏ The details were just outstanding and you can spend days and days pouring into it ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

Day 3: Part 1 We started bright & early and visited the Mullayangiri Peak, highest peak in Karnataka. The drive up, the weather, the views and the final hike up to the summit were just breathtaking. And of course, we had finish off the hike with some Maggi and Masala Corn ๐ŸŒฝ๐Ÿ˜Š

Cells are extremely dynamic when it comes to responding to changes in their environment. This is critical for their survival & ability colonise diverse niches Check out how our lab @ccmb_csir uses #fungi ๐Ÿ„ to understand this broadly conserved phenomenon https://t.co/r26x7e6bQ7

Living cells can change forms in response to the nutrition they receive. Surprised? Then check out @sriram_varahan's work in fungi. His lab studies cell state transitions in fungi in response to their metabolic states. Check their means of studying these: https://t.co/IODOnEG1AR
