LTCG combines with STT is one of the biggest reasons for FIIs exile. FIIs cannot bear brutal taxes and falling Rupee. There is no concept of STT in the entire world.
@InvestorOfJAMMU If LTCG and STT were the only culprits, India wouldn’t have seen bull markets from 2018 when LTCG was introduced. India should have a tax-free investment account like the Roth IRA in the US in which contributions from taxes income are capped but all returns made in the account
