Evolution of LGBTQ spaces:
1. Queer people make space for themselves
2. Venue gets popular
3. Straight cis women start coming as safe/fun space
4. Str8 cis men show up to hit on women
5. LGBTQ folk get pushed out of space/no longer feel safe
6.LGBTQ stop returning/lose the space
Sorry in advance if this starts discourse, but I think a mostly unacknowledged reason LGBTQ folk might be hesitant about str8s coming into gay spaces is bc of the expectation that gays would have to moderate their own behavior to accommodate str8s' discomfort.

For the first night of our Atlantis cruise last night, we saw the always fantastic La Voix's singing and comedy show (she was on Queen of the Universe). Had dinner and then promptly fell asleep.
But I'm rested and ready for a new day 🇮🇹
Make your gay characters complex. Problematic. Nasty fuckers who do bad things. Unapologetic. Evil. Manipulative. Unlikeable. Three dimensional. Villainous. Not just the ‘cute’ teens holding hands.
Maybe it's just me, but it seems like most social media companies *vastly* overestimate the value they bring to an average user. And I'm a fairly terminally online person.
When you post your 🍑 thirst trap to your private Insta, but for some reason the account reconnected to your FB and it posted there and by the time you notice and go to delete it you see your mom commented so you want to unalive yourself 🫠🫠
I remember one time being at the one gay bar in Bellingham, WA and when I went to use the restroom two straight guys at the urinal were chatting saying how they want to hit on women and that "none of these gay guys better hit on me hur hur hur"
