Not saying this will be easy, but the rangers are a better and deeper team, with the advantage at the most important phases of the game. Playing a “heavy game” is good, until you can’t keep up with overwhelming depth of skill. Rangers in 6. Smell ya in the nursing home, Bob #LGR

Barkov is all world. Reinhart is elite. Tkachuk is a rat, but a problem at that. The Rangers have the better bottom 6, third pair, pp and goalie. This series comes down to that. A healthy Chytil, 3rd line production, and exposing a geriatric Bob will rear its ugly head.

Whoever wants to talk 5v5 BS, spare me. How’d that go last round? This series comes down to goaltending, special teams and depth. The rangers have the best player in this series. Igor MF’ing Shesterkin. He’s a difference maker, and so is this Powerplay.

The Rangers powerplay is elite. Take all the stupid penalties you want, take a run at 93, 20, 13, 16, they’re battle tested. Won’t respond with a penalty of their own. Grade A chances are the difference in this series. Rangers produce those at an elite rate. Powerplays galore.

The people are asking or it, so although the Athletic won’t hire me bc they only look at charts, here’s the facts. Florida is a way better team than Carolina, albeit that doesnt say much. The Puddy Cats are tough to play against and will muck it up, but that’s a good thing. Why?
