So much this. In every field. Collaboration and learning is _always_ a two way street. If you imagine yourself to have all the answers then I don’t even.

@Gurdur Science is a collaborative endeavour. Everyone’s input is valuable/necessary. I learn from whoever can teach me, whatever their ā€˜rank’. I teach whoever needs it, whatever ā€˜rank’ I hold. No lab can be happy and successful if you create a culture where some are ā€˜more equal’.

Those trying to quell inner doubts about their position fear debate because they fear changing their minds. That's why they'd rather broadcast declarations of unshakeable certainty than engage in dialogue. They aren't trying to change minds, they're reassuring themselves.

Will probably hit 200K this week. So, let's use it as an excuse to say thank you. Thank you to everyone who helped get me here! Thanks for paying attention. For giving me great feedback. For entrusting me and my team with your money. For posting interesting things. Thank you!

The more problems we already have, the harder it is to notice new problems. The "Weber–Fechner Law" showcases this idea via this simple visual. The bottom pics have just 10 more dots than the top pics. But it's hard to detect the difference in the right column because we

On the phone for 3+ hours. Awful Customer Experience. Unable to speak with anyone in charge of anything. £20 down (managed to get one free seat back). Never again.

I’d love to see @TUIUK open source their seat allocation allocation algorithm for Customers who don’t pay for allocated seats. Party of 3. Rows 10, 20 and 30. Aisle, middle, aisle. Start to change your seats? Lose your original free seats and now you’re forced to pay Ā£30. TF.

We travel often. We’re being gouged here. No choice but to pay for seats that don’t offer additional legroom etc. but are just ā€œon the same planeā€. Awful Customer Experience so far. Please advise.

This. And it will be done in near real time in response to a User Need. Software will be ephemeral. The language won’t matter. Why would the code need to be human readable? Will we see new ā€œlanguagesā€ developed by and targeted by AIs? I think so.

The future of AI-assisted programming isn’t ā€œprompt-to-app.ā€ That’s a short-term phase. The real shift is much bigger: • Humans write only specs • AI handles all implementation • Code becomes completely disposable Let me explain šŸ‘‡

What problem does Liquid Glass solve? Layering interfaces atop of unpredictable, IRL backdrops is a problem to solve for headsets and smartglasses Apple often designs with future requirements in mind that are hidden to civilians

Apple engineers are currently trying to add visionOS support to the Godot engine More specifically: allow already-made Godot games running in a spatial window AND new immersive experiences via a new VR plugin https://t.co/UuLgUqe0UT

Hyper is making indoor navigation 100x cheaper. Traditional approach: $10k upfront, 6-month setup, hardware everywhere. JUST SHIPPED: $99 Evaluation Setup, live in days, zero hardware. And it's way better.
