I love it when new tools challenge the giants. Sometimes, those repos with fewer stars and less popularity achieve more than the bigger ones. Let's have it... TanStack Start vs. Next For context: I built Stunk–a state management library that is efficient!

or is that strictly the backend’s responsibility? We are also not uploading directly to the DB, we upload to SharePoint and get URL to the DB 🤷🏾♂️

A VAPT test conducted on an app I’m building revealed that when some accepted file extensions are modified and re-uploaded, the system still accepts them. As the frontend developer, do I need to start writing signatures to detect script or malicious files, 👇🏾

So, I can use yarn-gpt to make Error-Ease better... Interesting...
It's here and it's beautiful😍. I'm excited to announce the release of YarnGPT, the best text to speech system for Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Pidgin and Nigerian English🇳🇬. YarnGPT can help dub videos to Nigerian languages, create audiobooks/voice overs, and convert URL/PDF to audio.

The funny thing about Google is that they can take a share of your market and make it very affordable or free.

I agree. In a well-typed system, most data access shouldn't need optional chaining. If user is required for the operation to make sense, the type system should enforce its presence. Fail fast with if (!user)
I'm reviewing a codebase with over 750 uses of optional chaining. Example: user?.email I continue to believe adding this feature to JS was a mistake. It encourages lazy, sloppy, brittle, ambiguous code.

Someone told me: Rename "Stunk", saying it’s a bad name. My idea was "state + chunk", and my mind wasn't even there, I didn’t realize it’s actually the opposite of "stink." I had already published the package on npm before a friend pointed it out. Is it really a bad name?

We have 14 solid examples, ranging from simple to what we’d consider more complex, that will make state management feel like a piece of cake. 👇🏾

Again, when Stunk gets that visibility, it will compete with your favourite state management library!
I made a state management library for React. It's called simple store. Goal: make Zustand way simpler ⭐ - Stores are like atom() in Jotai, so types are inferred - You can select nested values, and use *them* as stores too To understand that last point, watch to the end! 👀

Another reason to show you that Stunk is really good… This looks exactly like @stunkdotdev. That’s Stunk’s goal as well, to make Zustand way simpler.

I've been using @vuejs for over 10 years now. It was good then. It's even better now. I'm very excited for what's to come. 💚
