My impression from the AI news I get online is that this whole industry is orienting itself around future predictions voiced by AI CEOs, who seem to be seen as sages of some kind. Doesn't the fact these people have direct financial stakes in such predictions bother anyone?.

Is it any less scary that we get eugenicist white-supremacist ads not (primarily) because brands want to promote such values or because their public adheres to them, but simply because our whole media economy formally incentivizes and rewards this behavior?.

The right is saying the "great genes" ad is just an innocent ad. The left is saying its purpose is to advance racist ideology and that it should suffer "backlash" for that. Both seem to ignore the obvious fact that the ad exists because it predicts and surfs such reactions.

É importante selecionar algumas pessoas jovens pra manter a cronodiversidade do seu ecossistema mental. Se vcs não conseguem é ou pq não têm interesse suficiente em coisas diferentes ou pq não sabem encontrar os kids geniais tipo @hegelerahippie.
Acho que julgo um pouco pessoas mais velhas que se relacionam (amizade ou namoro) com pessoas muito mais novas. Tô quase nos 30 e, a cada dia que passa, fica mais difícil manter uma conversa boa com alguém de 20. Não é culpa da pessoa, são apenas fases diferentes da vida.

We will use Grok 3.5 (maybe we should call it 4), which has advanced reasoning, to rewrite the entire corpus of human knowledge, adding missing information and deleting errors. Then retrain on that. Far too much garbage in any foundation model trained on uncorrected data.
