New Project Alert! 🚨 . What’s your favorite visualization tool?.I don’t know yet. I really love love Excel. Somehow doing love in Power BI too. Especially with @ZoomCharts !!!. I haven’t explored Tableau yet. 🫠🫠. But what’s it for you? 🌚.

Also, something crazy that happened:.I’ve spent so much time working with finance and sales data for US clients that I almost submitted the report in dollars instead of pounds sterling. 😅.It wasn’t until the final check that I caught my "£ vs $" mistake. Omoo. Na so I for cast.

That seemed like a major opportunity gap to me, and after a series of meetings, they agreed to open on Saturdays for some hours. I hope to see how that would improve Revenue. 💸.

My most interesting discovery was that they never made sales on Saturday. I first thought it was an error cos why???. However, after asking the sales manager questions, he mentioned that their website is usually closed for maintenance on Saturdays or just closed for sales.

The data had it all:. * Stock codes that looked like errors.* Cancelled orders tagged with "C".* Products named “Manual” and “Samples”.* Weird negative quantities.* Oh, and the dates? They stressed me cos they were in different formats but Idan no dey give up. 😭.

Let’s start with the basics. Maison Mart is a UK-based online store. I worked with over 500K rows of transaction data covering sales, customers, and products. The mission? Make sense of the madness, because the data was a lot of work!.
