As someone who spends part of the time in the USA but in other countries too & comes from somewhere else, it’s that here we go again feeling. Fed up of hearing why gun violence in the USA simply has to be tolerated. It’s merely an excuse not to fix a huge American problem.

Although I’m saddened I’m yet again reaching out to my trauma surgeon colleagues after another mass shooting… I’m also comforted in knowing the victims are being cared for by the very best. Kansas City, you are in the steadiest and most experienced of hands. Praying for all.
Please join me in prayer for all the victims in this heinous act. Pray that doctors & first responders would have steady hands & that all would experience full healing.

We need to find a new normal that does not include bullets in people #EndGunViolence @EAST_TRAUMA @traumadoctors @WesternTrauma. The loss of life and the disability experienced by survivors cannot be understood by those who do not care for these patients. @TraumaSurvivors .
