The improvements would be faster time to finality and 24/7 and financialization improvements. And tokenized equities you can at least digitize stock certificates and put the ownership structure onchain so no tokenized gold is not as good as tokenized equities . Needing to move.

Tokenized gold is no different than an ETF you still would have to have with a custody . Transaction (especially globally and of large size) are impractical with gold and auditing of holdings isn’t an easy practice . Gold is inferior in every way as a monetary asset just like.
Tokenized gold will eat Bitcoin's lunch. Also, who needs a U.S. dollar "stablecoin" when you can have a coin that represents ownership of real gold.

DeFi will be mainstream by end of 2026. It’s crazy the difference in perspective from Wall Street as now they are open to crypto & public blockchains - even those who I’ve known have been extremely skeptical for years. Only a matter of time until DeFi TVL is at $10T.
