Important study. Great data to guide the way we approach pleural procedures during pandemic #PRD2021.
And here are those results; pleural procedures, including thoracentesis, chest drain insertion, LAT generated fewer aerosols than normal breathing. Total aerosol levels similar to background levels. Time to ditch full PPE for pleural procedures?.#PRD2021 @UKPleura
