My mom met this lady at a Walgreens when I was a baby in the stroller. The woman looked in the stroller at me and said, “Wow! He’s tall! Maybe he’ll grow up and be a basketball player like my son!” and proceeded to show my mom baby pictures of her child, Scottie Pippen.

First Wu-Tang show tonight at the United Center, on 7/7/25 (2+5=7–the god number in the NGE), one month and two weeks before I turn 36. Excited as I would have been as a kid. Even considered wearing Tims in July.

Finally read Prodigy’s book My Infamous Life. It’s one of the most honest, transparent music autobiographies I’ve read. Few artists are willing to put themselves, their flaws, and their rough path to positive change under a microscope like that.

It’s the best Em feature in years and if you wanna hear a whole album of someone rapping like that minus the bad puns and (grand)dad jokes I strongly suggest Twista’s 1997 album Adrenaline Rush.
