people calling LIGHTMAN their Top 10 Rap album of the year already, AOTY etc., MEANS SOMETHING to me. been unlearning anxiety around releasing & trusting that good music HAS to be shared. Fortes & I had a specific wish for how this album would connect & it’s coming true 💡.

I just think there’s a whole wide open lane for emotional evolution in rap that’s still musically digestible and that’s what I think W!LD accomplishes.

i have so much to say Fresh, above all, thank you. I’ve had this hope, this perspective i wanted to share to people that if you think you heard this music from me before, YOU HAVENT. this is new, and it’s perfectly fine to find me now because this is the best i’ve been yet.
I really just know @radamiz as a dope young spitter from the new gen of NYC lyricists (from before I left NYC, pre/post blog era). But man, him & @RealFORTES dropped one of the most introspective, INTENTIONAL music projects I’ve heard in a bit. Really happy I pressed play.
