3rd December, week 34, our boys, Marc and Logan were born by a very emergency cesarean. For 2 weeks we lived in the hospital with the boys in intensive care. It was extremely hard and exhausting but finally we got to take them home. Boys are doing great and I am recovering well🥰

For those that don’t believe they can make it in tech. 4 years ago I finished my Full Stack JavaScript tech degree at 38 years. Yes I had html and css but no JavaScript knowledge at all. And wow look how far I have come. You too can achieve it. Hard work; anything is possible

Today we are celebrating 20 weeks 🎉. Both babies doing well and weighing in at around 300g. Had to battle Covid 🤧😷😬🤷♀️ this week which left me with zero energy but today I’m back on the bike and full of energy 😃

So far this year I have had 2 conference rejections. Conferences I wanted to speak at. But I’m ok. Getting rejections is part of being a speaker. Even speakers like me who have tons of experience get rejections. It doesn’t mean your not good enough. Never give up. Keep applying

10 years married today 😱😍. The secret to a good marriage is to live two lives not one. Don’t try to always do everything together, it’s important to have your own hobbies/friends etc. But make time for each other. Support each other’s careers and hobbies. Talk and laugh lots 🥰

5 years ago I didn’t want to celebrate my birthday. I felt I had no future and no purpose in life. I was struggling to learn JavaScript with the hope of changing my life. 5 years later and its just incredible. Feeling very grateful. Never stop hoping and believing. Never give up.

Words can not describe how I feel right now. My body aches all over but I feel absolutely amazing and so proud. 200km. New record. 8 hours cycling, 10 hours in total. Average 25km per hour. No lunch stop just short refill stops. Feeling on fire 🔥

I survived my first week back at work. 4 day week as today was Balearic Islands day.
The great thing is I get to have an amazing career and be a mum. It’s certainly challenging in every way but extremely rewarding and I couldn’t be happier.

I absolutely rock 💪🏻💪🏻🏃♀️. First half marathon done. I ran with the guy carrying the 2 hour flag. It was easy. Until km 17.5 Then I dropped my pace a bit. My head told me I can’t do it. Give up. I had to fight it telling myself just 1 more km, then just 1 more. Sprinted at end 💪🏻

I just bought a new bike 😍. After 10 years of cycling on my aluminum bike I’m now going carbon. Frame and wheels. This brand (Liv) is made especially for women. Had to order a smaller size so it’s coming in a weekish. I can’t wait. I’m gonna by flying up those mountains now.
