When reaching out to a curator, avoid asking, 'What can you do with this record?' That’s lazy and shows a lack of respect for their time and platform. Instead, come prepared. Pitch with purpose. Identify specific target playlists by name, and briefly explain why your song fits.

I believe that streaming services MUST build a better ecosystem for artists to avoid fraudsters. Artists paying for streams often have no idea they’re coming from bots, leaving them with a glitzy number on their profile but none of the real fans they’d intended to reach.
