Selvityksemme ensiharvennusten puunkorjuujäljestä Keski-Suomessa herätti paljon keskustelua. Kävimme tarkastustulokset läpi vielä yksityiskohtaisesti. Tulosten tarkastelussa ilmeni, että tulokset ovat tarkastusohjeemme mukaisia. 1/2
Ensiharvennuksissa puustoa hakataan usein liian harvaksi ja ajourat ovat suosituksia leveämmät. Suosituksia voimakkaampi harvennus pienentää metsän kasvua, puunmyyntituloja ja hiilensidontaa. Lue lisää Metsäkeskuksen tekemästä selvityksestä uutisestamme.
