That said, this is pretty easy to fix.1) Give draftees the numbers that each team would call from. If teams are worried about prank calls, I’m sure they could install a phone number that only dials out. 2) Have the teams call the players agent, and have the agent connect the call.

This whole “pranksters need to be held accountable” thing is dumb. Prank calls have been a thing since the invention of the telephone, you’re not gonna stop prank calls. It’s just that they’re now being recorded and posted online.
