Ozempic violates many narratives. The ultimate one is that of free will. Turns out motivation is not intrinsic. You can take a drug and change it.
I think it's pretty clear:. Anti-Ozempic commentary like 'it destroys muscle!' and 'it causes every cancer!' is almost entirely *not* derived from people making evidence-based claims. It's people saying what they hope to be true, because they don't want the drugs to work.

"The future of healthcare does not lie with $hims. They are doing well in terms of stock, but you can't really put them on the list with an Intuitive, Philips, Sectra, Tempus, Paige, @Proscia , Ibex, Sanofi, Novo. when it comes to innovation.". Agreed.

This is important for a few reasons:.1) open weight models mean vertical AI companies can pre-train & fine-tune on domain-specific datasets, adapting the models for modalities (like pathology or clinical note-taking).2) smaller models designed for specific tasks can out-perform.
NEW: OpenAI just released gpt-oss, its first open-weight models since GPT-2. The 120B model nearly matches o3 on HealthBench, beating GPT-4o and o4-mini -- making it OpenAI’s most efficient model yet. Big step toward local, low-cost clinical AI.

The numbers don’t lie. #Digitalpathology is already delivering millions across our lab network–& it’s just getting started. Our CCO Arun Ananth + CFO Tom Gallo unpack the mechanics: .-AI-driven #pathology is stabilizing margins .-RWD is turning into new revenue
