One of the great experiences in life is meeting your favorite author. Years before his death, I met the writer of (IMO) the best Persian novel, in Berlin. He gave me a few pages cut from the final book, and signed it!.A surreal experience.

Divide and conquer strategy only works for so long.
I’m extremely used to both the left and the right getting mad at my takes whenever there is a mass shooting, and that’s completely fine. Some people on the right immediately blamed transgenderism and used it as an argument to take gun rights away from people. I stand against.
